Ubud restaurant and bar Oops

Ubud restaurant oops band

Ubud restaurant and bar Oops

Ubud restaurant and bar Oops opposite the Ubud market on Jalan Raya Ubud is a big restaurant with good music and good food in the heart of Ubud.

I found myself dropping in here a couple of times on a recent trip to Ubud, mostly attracted by the music and the open feeling.

One night we went there for dinner and enjoyed a really nice steak, Tom Yum and really good gyoza (Japanese dumplings). The waitress assigned to us was pretty crappy, maybe just having a bad day, and found her impossible to understand. Very inattentive and sloppy, unusual for Ubud.

The menu is quite extensive, with a list of Bali specialities including chicken, pork ribs and rendang plus some Indonesian dishes including some vegetarian choices.

There is also a selection of salads including a Thai beef salad that looked good, plus some soups.

Some Western dishes also like steak and pastas, plus some nachos and quesadillas, burgers and other snacks.

Healthy and organic smoothies are also on the menu for those who like to drink their nourishment.

Ubud restaurant and bar Oops has live music most nights and the band playing the night we were there was really good, even though their covers were 10-20% too fast in my opinion.

What I really liked was the DJ music that had us scrambling for our Shazam! Big speakers, big sound.

Oops in Ubud has a large, upstairs and downstairs section at the front, plus a rambling back section which was much cooler in the day time and quieter at night.

Altogether I thought Ubud restaurant and bar Oops was really good, and quite well priced, with dinner for two plus a happy hour mohito each, around 250k

Ubud restaurant and bar Oops is a very popular Bali restaurant that also has a spa and a gelati shop alongside.

I found it funny, like haha funny, that the name Oops was extended to three businesses, Oops usually signifying a mistake, in this case one that kept growing!

Great place to chill, hang out and watch the passing parade. Good food and music, nice and serene out the back
