Pecatu restaurant Pit Stop

Pecatu restaurant Pit Stop

Pecatu restaurant Pit Stop is on the main road to Uluwatu and is really a pit stop in this part of Bali where day trippers stop for a break and a feed.

Sister business to Petitenget restaurant Pit Stop which has been a big hit, Pit Stop in Pecatu is a good little place to stop.

The menu here is pretty eclectic – they started off by selling good burgers and then expanded to include some basic Mexican dishes along with grilled seafood dishes.

At 40k the burgers are very popular and good value. Rosemary lamb is my favourite.

I had the quesadillas when I came by, and was quite disappointed. It was nice, but tiny and for the 45k very expensive. See the photo below.

There is a nice courtyard to sit in as well as a sprawling indoor section. It is a bit noisy here with passing traffic, and so it really has the feel of a highway truck stop in the West.

We arrived and it was empty, and within 10 minutes there were 20 people there so it does get busy here, and seems popular.

Pecatu restaurant Pit Stop is well situated just past the more heavy traffic you drive through to get to the Uluwatu and Padang Padang beaches temples and bars, so you feel like a break at this point.

Nice enough place, and being on that busy road the origins of the name are obvious. Bit disappointed with the food - not nearly as good as its sister in Petitenget, see on this site.
