Petitenget French Mediterranean restaurant Metis

Petitenget French Mediterranean restaurant Metis is one the classiest restaurants in Bali. Since 1997, when the chef and owner Nicolas ‘Doudou’ Tourneville opened French restaurant Cafe Warisan, for years the peak of modern Bali cuisine, and more recently circa 2011 when he opened Metis restaurant, his restaurants have been standard setters in Bali for the ultimate in Bali fine dining experience.

Focusing on impeccable service and outstanding French Mediterranean cuisine, Petitenget French Mediterranean restaurant Metis Restaurant is situated on Jalan Petitenget, not far from the Jalan Kerobokan junction.

This is luxury, and the environment is stunning, the service invisible and the food just delicious, altogether a stunning sensory experience.

Metis in Petitenget is where you go for that really special dinner, where the world and its cares fall away as soon as you arrive.

Be aware that it is priced at the high end, so don’t come expecting a normal Bali restaurant bill. That said you can still eat and drink there for roughly one million a head, equivalent to dining at a mid to mid range restaurant in the West.

Not the place to go if you have a budget, but rather a place to surrender and enjoy. Definitely in the top 10 Bali restaurants.

In October 2013 I attended a party at Metis. This was fun, lots of people, a different crowd to the other big parties held in that area, and at 250k entry fee, way more reasonable than the 800-900k that other places charge. It was a fun party.

Petitenget French Mediterranean restaurant Metis is an experience to savour. Best to phone ahead to book your reservation. Or get your hotel to do it for you.
