Legian restaurant Wayan and Friends

Appropriately named, Legian restaurant Wayan and Friends is a fairly standard simple Legian restaurant that has a broad menu and have live music most nights.

Legian restaurant Wayan and Friends on Jalan Padma Utara is a nice convivial Bali restaurant suitable for families.

Cheap meals of good serving size and cheap drinks too make this a local for money returning tourists, mostly in the 50+ range.

Wayan and Friends in Legian have a good choice of breakfasts though no muesli or similar – eggs, huevos rancheros, pancakes etc round off the menu.

Baguettes are available, plus burgers and sandwiches, soups, and yummy snacks, the standard selection of Asian foods along with Western foods like pizza, pasta and various chicken dishes as well as pork and steak dishes.

There is a kids’ menu, which albeit small, means there is always something to keep the little ones happy and relaxed.

I had the chicken wrapped in bacon which was just OK, with the bacon being a bit old and the chicken sharing a birthday perhaps.

My friend had the Tom Yum soup which she really liked, as it had some sizeable prawns inside.

The night I was there was a Friday and they had a live band which was pretty good and some of the Aussie women were dancing.

Legian restaurant Wayan and Friends isn’t anything fancy other than a good convivial and friendly Bali restaurant in Legian servicing a predominantly older Aussie tourist crowd.

Owner Wayan clearly knows and likes his clientele and runs a friendly and popular Bali restaurant.

There is a large TV screen so I imagine live sports are shown there in season.
