Dijon is very popular and there are always groups of diners enjoying the broad selection of cakes and main meals.

Well priced with main meals around 60k, this is a must if your taste buds and food desires are sophisticated and are OK travelling, or if you are simply in that area.

Now with the tunnel at the junction of Jl Sunset and the Ngurah bypass airport road Bali patisserie deli and restaurant Dijon is only accessible when travelling north from the airport and going left just before the tunnel, or coming from Kuta.

Regulars love this place, so check it out. In my list of top 50 places for a Bali lunch, and a good Bali deli that is the only one of its kind in that area, and a deli as well as a supplier of quality local and international produce to other Bali restaurants.

It is worth knowing about Bali patisserie deli and restaurant Dijon as it has become famous as a bit of a hidden treasure, with all kinds of delectable cheeses etc.

Popular with expats and Bali residents looking for good quality produce both locally made and imported.

I returned to Dijon in December 2014 for lunch and was a bit disappointed. I had the barramundi which I had thought was going to be a main course but instead was a (delicious and beautifully presented) couple of chunks of barramundi that left me still hungry. See main photo.

My friend had the chicken quesadilla which was so skinny there was no room for chicken in it. For 200k we had a drink each also, which were both very good, but I did not like that we both left hungry.

The quality of the barramundi was top class, while quantity was poor, while the opposite was true for quesadillas. Maybe it is a case of increasing food costs but not wanting to update menu, instead making portions smaller as is common in Bali.
