Kerobokan Indonesian restaurant Ingka

Kerobokan Indonesian restaurant Ingka garden

Kerobokan Indonesian restaurant Ingka

Kerobokan Indonesian restaurant Ingka opened mid 2015 serving international and Indonesian food and is a sister restaurant to the popular Nook restaurant in Umalas.

I have been to Nook many times and when I heard they were opening a new place in Jl Merthinadi just behind the gaol I was looking forward to trying it out.

First of all Bali restaurant Ingka is beautifully laid out, with a long row of tables down one side leading out onto the garden, where there are more tables and some under-cover couches for more relaxed dining.

There are also some other really long table for those who like to eat more communally.

The menu at Bali restaurant Ingka is international with an Indonesian flavour. There are lots of Indonesian dishes, a selection of pastas, salads, some general Asian dishes like laksa (that I had and enjoyed), pad Thai, Thai green curry and a chicken kebab. When I came in Feb 2017 there were quite a few dishes from Nook like grilled fish with sauteed potatoes and veggies.

The servings were on the slightly small side, but I think that will sort itself out fairly fast once it is fully opened. Pricing was on the low side, with the seafood laksa being 55k which was pretty good value I thought.

As a lunch portion it was perfect for me as I like a lighter lunch than others do.

The breakfast menu here is cute, with lots of different packages all named after the various localities in Bali.

There are lots of healthy fresh options for breakfast including sour dough bread, porridge, fruit bowls, Belgian waffles, crumpets etc.

In 2017 they have started to have live music here, at least on a couple of nights a week, certainly Saturday nights. Usually a singer and guitarist, kinda piano bar music. Nice and good standard.

Priced at 35-60k, they are also cheap, though that price doe not include juice or coffee.

I was impressed with Bali Indonesian restaurant Ingka and how it is set up. After two years is has become one of those hidden and discrete places to have a really nice dinner and a few drinks at night.

With lots of parking out the front, this is a great addition to the JL Merthinadi Bali restaurant scene.

Ingka restaurant in Kerobokan is a good quality Bali restaurant that is easy on the wallet, and like with Nook in Umalas, once you have been here you will come again and again..

A good quality Bali restaurant, especially considering the pricing which is at the lower end of the scale. Food was good, lovely place, somewhere you would expect to be paying more. Set a new standard, just like Nook did.

I have been to this restaurant many times and its fantastic, my only fault is the waiting times for meals are quite long.

I visited again in Feb 2017 and was impressed with the very classy atmosphere while still maintaining low prices. There are always lots of cars and bikes here whenever I go past.
