Kerobokan Indonesian restaurant D’Roemah

Kerobokan Indonesian restaurant D’Roemah was recommended to me as a lovely place for a lunch in the ricefields and it lived up to expectations, good food in a lovely setting.

Set in the ricefields just off Jl Raya Kerobokan, D’Roemati Warung serves Betawi, Sumetran and general Indonesian food in a lovely ramshackle, sprawling restaurant on the edge of the ricefields.

With couches in the open and under cover plus standard tables and chairs, there are lots of nice places to hang out here.

Bali warung D’Roemah is an interesting place, with salsa music and dancing happening on Wednesday nights and Sunday afternoon.

There is live music every night except for Tuesday when it is closed On Saturday nights they have what is called Keroncong, Javanese music.

What is cool about here is that they have a free shuttle service so they can collect you and take you home later. Timing may be challenging, but then so is getting around in a taxi! Call 0812 3999 4365

As you can see from the photos Warung D’Roemah is a lovely place, fairly quiet. On Sundays they have a regular Indonesian buffet, somewhat larger than the usual Bali nasi campur, which is apparently very popular, especially with salsa girls.

I liked the nasi campur I had here, although at 65k somewhat more expensive than similar dishes elsewhere. My friend has the satay chicken which she liked also.

Kerobokan Indonesian restaurant D’Roemah is a lovely lunch venue, and with lots of different sitting areas, probably good at night too, especially if you are into salsa.

They also have functions here, like weddings, where its privacy really kicks in.

See their Facebook page for more updates, d Roemah
