Bali Japanese restaurant Ryoshi low table area

Ryosho is both traditional and modern

Seminyak Japanese restaurant Ryoshi

Ryoshi is probably the most famous of Bali Japanese restaurants and has spread all over Bali and the Gili Islands including Ubud, Gili Trawangan, Sanur, Kuta and the Bali Mall Galleria.

Ryoshi in Seminyak has also become famous for its live music, especially the jazz played every Monday night.

Good clean food, a wide variety of Japanese food and dining settings in this two storey restaurant.

Situated close to the Bintang supermarket complex it is quite central and easy to find. Lots of parking here also.

Ryoshi is a very popular Bali Japanese restaurant and live music venue in Bali.

Seminyak Japanese restaurant Maya Sayang

Just down the lane from Ultimo in the Oberoi area is Maya Sayang. Subdued, classy, with good food. Air conditioned and non smoking inside although most patrons choose to eat on the porch outside.

Staff and service can be a bit sloppy though.

At Maya Sayang you can sometimes get treated to the sounds of the Italian tenor singing, or their other live music, over the wall in Ultimo.

Seminyak Japanese Korean restaurant Kaizan

In the Oberoi area in Seminyak, Kaizan has the largest menu I have ever seen, and specialises in Japanese and Korean barbeque.

Part of the Bali Japanese restaurant chain Ryoshi, Kaizan offers a different dining experience.

Suitable for large groups, this has large tables and benches upstairs where you can get roudy and feast.

Seminyak Japanese restaurant Kunis

The cream of Japanese restaurants in this part of Bali, in my opinion, is Kunis in the Oberoi area of Seminyak. A sublime and Zen décor transports you into another world.

Kunis offers calm elegance

More upmarket than most other Japanese restaurants in Bali, Kunis offers a Japanese dining experience to remember, regardless of how much sake you drink!

Fine Japanese dining in Bali, perhaps the most sophisticated Bali Japanese restaurant.

Seminyak Sushi Bar Sushimi general

Sushimi is more a Japanese cafe than a restaurant

Seminyak sushi bar Sushimi

Sushima in the Dhyanapura area of Seminyak is, to my knowledge, the only sushi train in Seminyak. A lovely fresh place, with a good selection on the sushi train plus you can order from the a la carte menu.

Sushimi is non-smoking inside and air conditioned inside, with some tables outside on the street as well.
